This is a great hiking vest, I use it for jogging, walking and hiking, which I do often. The bag has compartments at the front where your chest is for ease of access. I store my essentials in here including my water. The pockets are good sizes - some small for headphone chargers and phones, some bigger for a small first aid kit and water bottles.

Really great vest. Was comfortable on a 3hr plus run (second time out in hot weather). Two zippered pockets useful for phone (can fit a large mobile) and car keys, inhaler etc. stretchy pockets for gels and snacks right behind bottles. Large enough rear compartment for waterproof jacket and trousers and emergency blanket.
